High Park: for the enjoyment of all.

Join us in making High Park accessible to all!

High Park Access (HPA) is a volunteer group of Toronto citizens dedicated to ensuring High Park remains a public and inclusive space accessible to all.

HPA seeks community and user group engagement to ensure a transparent and fair High Park planning process that complies with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) legal requirements and standards, creates a new community-driven High Park governance structure and allows access by all modes of transportation including TTC, shuttle, bikes and private vehicles.

High Park: a jewel in the city.

Year round, High Park offers visitors trails, sporting facilities, cultural facilities, educational facilities, gardens, playgrounds, a zoo, and more.

High Park Access: Our Purpose

We call on the City of Toronto to undertake a High Park management planning process that is public, broad and transparent.

In doing so, we look to a future that meets the needs of current residents and generations to come for both public spaces and recreation.

We hope to focus debate, make recommendations for transparent management planning and standards, while acknowledging previous planning failures.
